Hello everyone, Yes I should have posted this a few days ago. But at least we still are reeling from all the Halloween excitement, well I know I am. It seems like Halloween comes and goes so fast and we never get to do everything we had planned for. Didn't go to enough parties,didn't eat enough candy,didn't go to enough places to pick pumpkins and apples, or Didn't watch enough Horror movies. It has always interested me as to how the movies in general come to life, the story, the production, the casting and how the actors came to be. A few years ago I was given the chance to see a movie come to life as it was being made. Some friends of mine created a film called "Jack O' Slasher" and I was given a small part in the film. Even though it was an independent production, It was like just like what I heard being on a Hollywood movie set would be like. After that last entry and all I put into it and the previous entries that include tips on the music Business, I needed to take a breather(which is needed from time to time). Well that and I have been having computer issues. Anyway, I really hope my last few entries gave you some serious insight into what is put into a career as a professional musician. What I really mean is an original band that plays professionally. All the Orchestras you may have heard(think Star Wars ) in movies, Tv, or in plays or operas are all classically trained musicians, some of which have been playing since early in their childhood that have spent some much time learning their instrument that can not only play many complex pieces of music, but can also play them as soon as a piece is given them. On Saturday October 30th, The Queens Library in Flushing,NY brings you: the Gothic Rock of Imbolg. This Queens based band has been performing throughout the Northeastern United States for the past several years and have also been mentioned in music reviewer/author Mick Mercer's latest book:" Music to die for". Now, the band returns home to perform their own brand of Celtic influenced Goth Metal music for the people of Queens free of charge at 2pm and they encourage all to come in costume to enter a pre-halloween costume contest open to people of all ages. On Friday October 29th Necromancer productions Inc. brings you: "The Hell's Kitchen Halloween Costume Party" at the Port 41 in Manhattan. The night is sponsored by Coffin Case,Kink~e Magazine and Beaver Tattoo.The event will be hosted by Necromancer Mortanis and Kink~E Magazine's Nancy The event will feature some of New York Mertorpolitian area's heaviest and spookiest bands including: Imbolg,Suaka,Firehaze,Show no Mercy and the Saints of Pain, as well as live dancers, Dj Mortanis spinning between after the bands and a costume contest with prizes from Kink~e Magazine,Coffin Case, and free Tattoo giveaways from Beaver Tattoo and much more. Imbolg Performing at the Vampire Masquerade Fetish Ball in NYC

On Thursday October 29th, Killer B'z & House of The Black Rose Present A Very Dark Affair: The Vampire Masquerade Fetish Ball. This event will be held at the Bank/Element club from 10pm-4am, with drinks specials during the first hour and a costume contest with a door prize. Also scheduled are Performances by the Gothic Rock Band "Imbolg", Dj Kreig,Dj Stalagmike and Pepper Negron with his dark arts film works,and Lady Aye who specializes in sword swallowing and many other masochistic fascinations.Admission is $25 in advance and $30 the night of the event for all patrons 21 and over with proper ID and attire(all black,costume,Masks,Vampire or Fetish attire) The Bank/Element night club is located at 225 East.
