A Cold Night at the Meadows: Featuring Ad Infinitum,Seven Spires,Symfinity,Tulip and the Martyr Live

Adrienne Cowan of Seven Spires Hello everyone. When I decided to name one of the entries Long Cold Winter I had no idea I would make so much use of it. However, despite it being one of the coldest nights of the year I decided to brave the cold with my camera in tow, and go out support my friends in Symfinity who along with The Martyr were supporting a tour coming through town. Saying they were supporting is a huge understatement. Many people don't realize that when a tour coming through town and local or should I say Independent bands (at some point the term "local band" becomes an insult, well to me anyway) are the ones who work to make it happen. They sell tickets for these shows in exchange for a slot on show with a bigger name (who was wise enough to seek a manager and make industry contacts) and a small percentage of the ticket sales. I'm sure you can tell I am not a big fan of this business model, but I can explain that some an...

Can I play with Madness?

How's it going everybody? As this title may or may not imply, this is about trying to maintain consistency during the holiday madness (or Iron Maiden ) that I'm sure we are all breathing a sigh of relief that it's officially over. Although, for us ambitious types it has a way of throwing us off course no matter how hard we resist. Which is partly to blame for me not making an entry in almost two months. Knowing that there is no actual authoritative obligation (accept with my readers of course) I simply had to take a a pause til when I was comfortable to write. So here I am 😊. I'm usually not a big fan of year in review type things. But I must say, this year despite all of the low points. There h...

Nobody's fault but mine

Well it looks like I almost did it again, and notice I said almost. You see,I almost let an entire week go by without putting up another entry. Yes I'm aware that Tuesday was the anniversary of the September 11th attacks. And what made it even worse was when it happened in 2011, it was in fact on a Tuesday. So for myself and I'm sure many others, the day was very sad with an almost draining vibe to it. I don't have any colorful story of the day to share or anyone that I was very close with passed away so I felt it was best to steer clear of the topic on that day. With the exception of posting a general memorial to those who died that day and I also posted the favorite song of a family friend who we lost that day. In loving Memory of Mike "Buddy" Zinzi" Learn More https://promocode.com.ph/ In my last post, I mentioned the book that I had let it sit around and collect dust instead of using it to its fullest potential : the Rock/Star Planner And d...
