In the Mind of Nate

On Saturday, June 28th, the Ridgefield Park Civic Center and Forever Autumn Records present: BravoFest NJ—a charity music event uniting bands across multiple genres to raise funds for Homes For Our Troops. HFOT is a nonprofit organization that has been building and donating specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans for over 20 years. BravoFest NJ is an expansion of the original BravoFest, first launched at Charlee Bravo’s in Putnam, CT, in 2019. This year’s lineup features six musical acts, including Imbolg, fronted by BravoFest co-founder and organizer Nate Dal Cais, a Ridgefield Park native. Other performers include Jellyfish Jam, Suede Aces, Spoons of Ukobach, classic rock cover band Nobody Famous, and Ridgefield Park resident Nick Schneider, performing classical and jazz piano standards. Hello everybody, after my last entry I need to show everyone how resilient the life of a musician can be and how the next day can bring about great changes. So after a few deep breathes and listening speeches/watching scenes from Rocky , a movie that always lifts my spirits I decided to focus on some very great upcoming events I am involved with. Very soon it will be my Birthday , and I will be fortunate enough to be performing at that day. Also, I have been lucky enough to coordinate the special day so that the Imbolg Record release party will be on the same day at a very great event here in NYC known as Salvation , which was created by none other than Joe Cyn , and the NYC Goth scene's most tenured DJ: Patrick .
