Hello everyone, things have been moving along somewhat steadily for the past few weeks or so. I came up with the concept for this post over a year ago but I kept putting it off in favor of other topics and sheer procrastination (or what I usually refer to as "sloth"). Right now seems like the best time since I need to remind myself of this. A week before another Birthday and an event I have been trying to bring to my area for sometime now, Bravofest NJ . Even ticket sales seems to be going very slowly. But I have to tell myself "It's Alright" I am not one to try and mask when things are bad, I just wait it out and do my best to find a solution. But I do expect nothing less since it has happened to me before. Busting my hump to prepare for something only to find out that I was the one of the only people that really seemed to care. On Saturday, June 28th, the Ridgefield Park Civic Center and Forever Autumn Records present: BravoFest NJ—a charity music event uniting bands across multiple genres to raise funds for Homes For Our Troops. HFOT is a nonprofit organization that has been building and donating specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans for over 20 years. BravoFest NJ is an expansion of the original BravoFest, first launched at Charlee Bravo’s in Putnam, CT, in 2019. This year’s lineup features six musical acts, including Imbolg, fronted by BravoFest co-founder and organizer Nate Dal Cais, a Ridgefield Park native. Other performers include Jellyfish Jam, Suede Aces, Spoons of Ukobach, classic rock cover band Nobody Famous, and Ridgefield Park resident Nick Schneider, performing classical and jazz piano standards. Me with Ralph Macchio May 31st 2025 This weekend that just passed, I attended Creation Entertainment’s Tribute to Cobra Kai. Although I have already met some of the cast members before, this was highly anticipated. I decided to splurge and go for the V.I.P. package. Armed with my decorative jacket (which prompted Dan Ahdoot who plays Anoush on the show to call me “the General of Cobra Kai”) complete with an Imbolg back patch and decorative pins, I walked into the Hanover Marriot in Whippany, NJ to witness the outpouring of countless fans that gathered for the same reason. Our love for this amazing show. And that is an understatement in many ways. People came from all over the country and the world. Some of whom had to overcome a lot to just get there. But despite any of that, we all made it! Hello, I am sitting on the plane on my way back home and decided to finally write something new. I know it’s a recurring theme here. Enough though, I should have written a little each day of the trip. Especially since this is a destination, I have longed to go to for as long as I can remember, Ireland . Of course, this has everything to do with it being part of my family’s heritage. But you probably already knew that if you have been reading my posts and or following the band. With everything going in the world and the everyday concerns about money, the future of the economy and what not, most people always feel they cannot afford to take such a trip. I said to myself, I can’t afford not to. Yes, it is a huge expense and undertaking travelling for so many hours and be away from home. But you cannot put a price on an experience like this. Hello everyone, we would first like to introduce our new bass player Jon Funaro (pictured on the right) of Edison,NJ. Jon is a multi instrumentalist with influences including : Lamb of god,Gojira,Metallica,System of a Down,Slipknot,Meshuggah,and Black Sabbath . Jon is also a founding member and guitar player of Jelly Fish Jam . Jon will be playing his very first show with us on Friday for Froggy Daze (see our Bandsintown Page for more details) Please welcome him aboard.
