Hopping back on stage at Froggy Daze: Imbolg’s first show of the year

Imbolg live at Froggy Daze May 15th 2026 Hello everyone, as you may have noticed since from my previous post "a great day of Pi" or my last post of the of 2025, Long Cold Winter I truly believe the weather has a significant effect on us overall. But I realized something else was unsettling, not being on stage. After this long hiatus without performing, I was able to perform with the full band a few weeks ago at the Froggy Daze Festival in Narrowsburg, NY. Outside of performing at an Open Mic and doing a facebook live, this was my first official show of the year. I have to admit that I was not in high spirits to say the least. Knowing I was going to travel all that way without the guarantee of money and the expense of a car rental already putting me in the whole. A Cold Night at the Meadows: Featuring Ad Infinitum,Seven Spires,Symfinity,Tulip and the Martyr Live

Adrienne Cowan of Seven Spires Hello everyone. When I decided to name one of the entries Long Cold Winter I had no idea I would make so much use of it. However, despite it being one of the coldest nights of the year I decided to brave the cold with my camera in tow, and go out support my friends in Symfinity who along with The Martyr were supporting a tour coming through town. Saying they were supporting is a huge understatement. Many people don't realize that when a tour coming through town and local or should I say Independent bands (at some point the term "local band" becomes an insult, well to me anyway) are the ones who work to make it happen. They sell tickets for these shows in exchange for a slot on show with a bigger name (who was wise enough to seek a manager and make industry contacts) and a small percentage of the ticket sales.
